This is a partnership between NOAA Ocean and Atmospheric Research (OAR) through the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) and Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) regional associations such as MARACOOS, SECOORA, CariCOOS and institutions including the University of Puerto Rico, University of the Virgin Islands, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, University of Delaware, and Rutgers University. The goal of the project is to provide realtime data for ocean model validation and assimilation throughout hurricane season. This project is supported by the Disaster Recovery Act. The glider was deployed out of Tuckerton, NJ and will transect offshore along the Endurance line to the shelf break, south along the break then back toward Tuckerton, NJ with an inshore point at about 30 meters depth. This real-time dataset contains CTD measurements from both a Seabird Scientific pumped CTD and an RBRconcerto inductive CTD.\n\ncdm_data_type = Trajectory\nVARIABLES:\ntime (Timestamp, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ndepth (CTD Depth, m)\ntrajectory (Trajectory/Deployment Name)\nsource_file (Source data file)\nc_alt_time (sec)\nc_ballast_pumped (cc)\nc_climb_target_depth (m)\nc_dive_target_depth (m)\nc_fin (rad)\nc_heading (rad)\nc_science_send_all (bool)\nc_thruster_on (percent)\nc_weight_drop (bool)\n... Additional benefits of the glider mission include collection of tagged fish data disseminated thru the Animal Telemetry Network as well as contribution of data gathered to the NOAA IOOS Glider DAC that will help improve accuracy of weather forecasting and predicting severe storms. The ECO-PAM project is in partnership with the University of Rhode Island, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. This real-time dataset contains temperature, salinity and oxygen concentration measurements.  Acoustic monitoring data will be packaged separately and is not included in this dataset. The glider was deployed southeast of Atlantic City and will perform zig-zag transects south along the coast of New Jersey\n\ncdm_data_type = Profile\nVARIABLES:\ntime (Timestamp, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ndepth (CTD Depth, m)\ntrajectory (Trajectory/Deployment Name)\nsource_file (Source data file)\nc_alt_time (sec)\nc_ballast_pumped (cc)\nc_climb_target_depth (m)\nc_dive_target_depth (m)\nc_fin (rad)\nc_heading (rad)\nc_science_send_all (bool)\nc_thruster_on (percent)\nc_weight_drop (bool)\nc_wpt_lat (lat)\n...
